I am embarking on my first blog experience today.  I registered the domain daivdblizard.com at godaddy for 0.99 cents and opened an account at wordpress.  Was origionally going to host through wordpress but decided to host it myself on one of my Linux servers.  The promo code that I used for godaddy is LOVE99 which I found at webhostingtalk.com which I often read.  My main purpose for this blog is to have a web presence and to get the first place placement for google for “David Blizard”.

I think the content I will blog about will likely be… linux, web 2.0, digital culture, tech news, electronic music, movies and books related to technology.  I am thinking of starting another blog soon to do with some of my traveling experiences, looks like I am already addicted after a few hours !
